After 5 hours of uncomfortable van-van-bus-tricycle ride from Bolinao, we finally reached San Juan, La Union at 6:30 PM. The trike driver dropped us off at San Juan Surf Resort. There were only a few guests that night. We were lucky to get the cheapest room available - a fan room with two single bed with breakfast for P950 is exactly what we need.
